We are a family run business established by our late chairman Les Ratcliffe MBE in 1963. Since then we have been delivering to customers all over the North of England.

Our mission has never changed and is to supply the finest foodservice both chilled and ambient at realistic prices, with a service that is second to none and is flexible enough to care for all our customers individual needs.

We built our current premises on a ‘Green Field’ site and moved in June 2006. Today we employ 30 staff, delivering the same high standard of quality and service that Les Ratcliffe himself adhered to during those early days.

We operate from our fully refrigerated purpose built premises at Waterfold Park, Bury in Lancashire. We are situated adjacent to junction 2 on the M66 Motorway with easy access to the Motorway network in all directions.

We operate a fleet of both 7.5 tonne and 18 tonne refrigerated vehicles, delivering throughout the North of England 5/6 days per week.

We hold STS accreditation, ensuring that our procedures, systems and premises are of the highest standard for our many customers such as Booths and countless other important customers like YOU.
