Bargain Treats at the Dunsters Farm Monthly Yard Sale

Bury bargain-hunters descended on Dunsters Farm’s first ever yard sale last month, looking for some tasty treats at discount prices.

The event held on Saturday 30th May, was organised after the lockdown forced a number of customers to close temporarily and leaving the team with some short-dated stock. After donating some of the stock to local charities, the team came up with the idea of a Yard Sale, selling direct to customers at discount prices whilst also avoiding waste.

Some of the deals at the first sale included 32 packets of walkers crisps for £11.39 (that’s just 35p a bag), 24 cans of diet Coca Cola for less than £10 and tons of great deals on confectionary lines, sandwiches, sauces and more.

Following the first Yard Sale’s success, the team have decided to make it a monthly event and will be welcoming the general public once again this month. All the events will follow government guidance, with rules for all those attending including only two customers in the premises at one time, contactless card payments and 2m social distancing at all times.

The Yard Sales will be held on the last Saturday of every month at the Dunsters Farm site next to the Village Hotel, Bury (address below). Keep an eye on the Dunsters Farm social media pages, for updates on exclusive offers and deals available at the next sale.
