Dunsters Farm gets seal of Approval from Red Tractor

Dunsters Farm has been certified once more by Assured food Standards, better known as The Red Tractor – the fourth time our business has been assessed and accredited since 2016.

What is Red Tractor?

Red Tractor is the largest food assurance scheme in the UK, a not-for-profit organisation designed in 2000, to improve quality of the food & drink we eat, and to help people buy with confidence.

The logo is an easy signpost, so consumers know that any product they buy which carries the Red Tractor mark is safe to eat, and has been produced responsibly – from Farm to Fork.

To be licensed by Red Tractor, Dunsters Farm had to once again prove that our processes meet Assured Food Standards – evidencing all our food stock is produced, packed, stored and transported in the UK and that our suppliers are considerate of safety, animal welfare and environmental protection.

Hannah Barlow, Joint Managing Director at Dunsters Farm said of the certification;

“We’re incredibly proud of our supply chain here at Dunsters Farm, continually working to ensure quality at every step.

“Being certified by Red Tractor endorses our commitment to traceability, and we’ll continue to strengthen our support of local farmers, small businesses and of course – quality British Food.”
